Alliance Racing and Gas Monkey Energy Confirm Will Holtz to F4 U.S. Effort in 2020

Holtz joins Indiana based program for national campaign

Firming up another driver for their 2020 Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda efforts, Alliance Racing Sponsored by Gas Monkey Energy has inked a deal with Will Holtz. Graduating from the karting ranks and through the Lucas Oil Racing School, Holtz was set to make his F4 debut at Road Atlanta during the first event of the season on April 9-11, but that is now on hold due to COVID-19.

"I am super excited to join Alliance Racing for the 2020 season," explained an excited Will Holtz. "After seven years of karting, I am ready for a new experience and challenge. I am grateful to the team for this opportunity and to Gas Monkey Energy for their support in Alliance Racing."

"Will joined us at a recent test in Texas and quickly adapted to the team and car," added Alliance Racing Owner Toney Edwards. "Will has a lot of karting experience and was impressive in his first day with our team. He was comfortable in the car and that showed in his lap times. A few more days of testing before the start of the season are planned, and we can't wait for the first green flag of 2020."

Will Holtz joins confirmed Alliance Racing Sponsored by Gas Monkey Energy drivers David Burketh and Will Edwards. With more driver announcements on the horizon, 2020 is shaping up to be a good year for the Gas Monkey Energy drink supported team.

Holtz continued, "I am looking to build a strong foundation in cars and learn from the intense racing that the F4 Championship provides. Results wise, I am shooting for consistent points finishes, and to be knocking on the door of the top-five by the end of the season."

Will Holtz would like to extend an extra special thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. A huge thank you to Toney Edwards and the Alliance Racing crew, Gas Monkey Energy, Figgin' Fruit (Hello Delicious Brands), the Rogers Family and Bradley Financial Services as well as LevelUp Racing School (Peter Stolz, Gregg Borland). Additionally, Will Holtz thanks his family and friends for believing in him and helping him follow his passions and dreams.
