BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Oct. 19, 2026) – Champagne Racing has cemented its status as a powerhouse in junior formula racing, capping off a remarkable 2026 campaign with a sweep of the drivers’ titles in both the Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) and Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.), a second consecutive Ligier JFC Team Championship, and an F4 U.S. Team Vice-Championship title—all in the team’s debut season in F4 U.S.
The team’s dominance was spearheaded by two standout drivers. In the Ligier JFC, Beckham Jacir delivered a near-perfect campaign in the Gen. 1 class, clinching the Drivers’ Championship with 13 wins, 14 podiums, 6 pole positions and 11 fastest race laps across 15 races—including a streak of eight consecutive victories. Jacir sealed the title with a commanding Race 2 win at VIRginia International Raceway, ultimately powering Champagne Racing to its second straight Ligier JFC Team Championship, following the team’s 2025 title.
“This feels great,” said Jacir. “We knew what we came here to do throughout the whole season; we knew we were going for the championship. I can’t thank the team at Champagne Racing enough for giving me such an amazing car. These guys have been working hard all year, but all the work has paid off.”
In F4 U.S., Gastón Irazú mirrored that success, securing the 2026 Drivers’ Championship in dominant fashion. The Uruguayan driver clinched the title with a weekend sweep at VIR, building an insurmountable points lead before the season finale. In Champagne Racing’s first year in F4 U.S., Irazú recorded five pole positions, 11 fastest race laps, nine wins and 15 podiums.
The combined efforts of Jacir and Irazú, along with the team’s depth across both championships, also delivered Champagne Racing the Ligier JFC Team Championship—its second in as many seasons—and the F4 U.S. Team Vice-Championship, underscoring the organization’s ability to compete at the front in every series it enters.
“To win both drivers’ championships in the same season—and to do it in our first year in F4 U.S.—is a testament to the incredible work of every single member of this team,” said Champagne Racing Team Principal Victor Rubin.
“Beckham and Gastón drove flawlessly, and our crew gave them the cars to fight for wins every weekend. Winning the Ligier JFC team title for a second consecutive year and finishing as the vice champion in the F4 U.S. team standings shows the strength of our entire program,” said Team Co-Owner Jhonatan Sastoque.
With dual drivers’ crowns and team silverware in hand, Champagne Racing has firmly established itself as a premier destination for emerging talent and a consistent front-runner in the junior formula ladder.
