SANTIAGO / Birmingham, Alabama, United States / October 19, 2026 – On the night of Sunday the 18th—just hours after winning his second consecutive race at the final round of the Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.)—young Clemente Huerta Raab received his awards at the series' closing gala in Birmingham. During the ceremony, he was honored as the "Ligier Most Improved Driver" of 2026 and was awarded points toward an FIA Super License, earned by securing fourth place in the final championship standings.
"Here in Birmingham, we’re wrapping up the year at Barber Motorsports Park with two first-place finishes, a pole position, and the fastest time in practice. I also received the award for the driver who showed the most development throughout the year. And finally, something we’ve been chasing all season—and which few drivers manage to achieve—we’ve secured points toward an FIA Super License," the 17-year-old athlete stated enthusiastically.
Huerta Raab enjoyed a perfect weekend, claiming two commanding victories between Saturday and Sunday, in addition to taking pole position for the final race. These results moved him from fifth to fourth place in the series standings.
Over the course of the season, the Chilean driver competed in all seven F4 U.S. rounds, securing four third-place finishes, two victories, and one pole position. He finished with a total of 206 points, placing him fourth in the overall standings. It is worth noting that, in the first three rounds of the competition, the Chilean driver failed to reach the podium due to the poor performance of his race car—a situation that prompted his return to his former team, Kiwi Motorsport, with whom he had successfully concluded the 2026 season.
Ultimately, the championship title went to the Uruguayan Gastón Irazú with 339 points, followed by the Canadian Caleb Campbell with 232, the South African Zach Fourier with 223, Clemente Huerta with 206, and the Canadian Cole Medeiros with 166.
