West Coast News: Logan Cusson Clinches Winter F4 Championship

Driving a Ligier JS F4 car prepared by Jensen Global Advisors, Canadian Logan Cusson claimed the overall 2019 Formula Pro USA F4 West Coast Supported by SCCA Pro Racing Winter Championship. Throughout the abbreviated schedule, Cusson scored two poles, two wins and two second place finishes

In his Formula 4 debut, Cusson dominated the opening Formula Pro USA weekend held at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California, in January. Cusson turned the fastest laps in practice and qualifying. Starting off pole in both races, his speed from qualifying carried over with the 19-year-old rooking winning Race 1 and finishing second in Race 2 after recovering from a spin.

The final leg of the winter championship was held on Auto Club Speedway's road course in Fontana, California. Heavy rains and wind impacted the event, however, the inclement weather did not impede Cusson's success. Cusson closed out the championship with another second place finish and a win.
