Kiko Porto Stops in Daytona before Testing in Houston

Before his rigorous winter testing program begins in Houston, Brazilian driver Kiko Porto made a stop in Daytona for one of the most anticipated races on the American Racing Schedule, the Rolex 24. Porto spent the weekend following the progress of Brazilian drivers such as Rubens Barrichello, Hélio Castroneves, Felipe Nars, among others.

"This year's race was really engaging with such a large Brazilian presence on the grid," said Porto. "Felipe Nars was even in second and Helinho in third. So it was pretty cool.”

After an exciting weekend of spectating, the 15-year-old is ready to enter the cockpit for his first test of the year with DEForce Racing Feb. 2-3 at Houston Motorsports Park.

“I can’t wait to start the championship, now I’ll compete the entire season this year. God willing, it’ll be a great year for my career,” finished Porto.
