F4 U.S. Visits the City of Lights for SKUSA! SuperNationals 22

The Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda is a youth-focused, cost-contained series serving as a building block to open-wheel racing for competitors taking that next step from karts to cars. For karters searching for the next stage in their motorsport careers, an F4 U.S. booth will be featured inside of SuperKarts! USA SuperNationals 22 in Las Vegas Nov. 14-18. With entries exceeding 400 this season, SKUSA! Supernats is the largest single karting event in North America.

Several SKUSA! National Champions like Kyle Kirkwood of Jupiter, Florida, Jake French of Royse City, Texas, Dylan Tavella of Massapequa, New York, Joshua Car of Sydney, Australia and Braden Eves of Gahanna, Ohio, entered F4 after developing their race craft in karts.

“It is extremely important for F4 U.S. to have visibility at the SuperNationals. Karters from all over the world travel to Vegas to compete, so it’s the perfect event to showcase the F4 U.S. program, its partners and teams while answering questions from drivers and parents about the championship,” said SCCA Pro Racing Communications Director Amy Greenway. “Some of our most competitive drivers over the last three years were SKUSA! national champions. We’ve noticed the drivers who got their start in karts, like Kyle Kirkwood, have an accelerated learning curve when transitioning into F4. The skills they learn in karting, built that foundation. We are extremely excited that SKUSA! afforded us the opportunity to attend and a special thank you to Patti Kutscher for all her time and effort facilitating our visit.”

Karters and fans can visit the F4 booth daily starting Wednesday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. PT. For a closer look at the Ligier JS F4 chassis, the Exclusive MotorWorks F4 U.S. car will be on display beginning Thursday. Throughout the four-day weekend, several F4 driver alumni will make appearances to answer any questions current karters have about the series from a drivers’ perspective. An appearance schedule will be announced later on F4 U.S. social media.

F4 U.S. 2018 team champion Crosslink/Kiwi Motorsport, Momentum Motorsports and Group-A Racing will attend SuperNats, scouting drivers to solidify their 2019 rosters.  Formula Pro USA Western Championships, SCCA Pro Racing’s F4 West Coast affiliate, will also be on hand starting Thursday to promote west coast testing opportunities and its F4 West Coast Winter series.
