  • Drivers Chandler Horton and Will Edwards to represent Gas Monkey Energy through entire 2019 season

Gas Monkey Energy (GME) is turning to the future of racing with its recent Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda partnership with Indiana-based Alliance Racing. The deal will support two up and coming drivers throughout the entire 2019 FIA Formula 4 season and begin with the 2018 season finale at world-renowned Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

“I’m excited for us to team with Alliance Racing to break into Formula 4. This is a unique chance for up and coming drivers to start in open-wheel racing and to help provide a springboard to launch them into higher levels of motorsports. We look forward to be a part of this growing series and can’t wait to fuel the Formula Racing series fans,” said Richard R. Rawlings, Owner of Gas Monkey Garage and Gas Monkey Energy.

Alliance Racing currently fields two drivers in the relatively new racing series which serves as a feeder series for future open-wheel racing series. The duo of drivers consist of Chandler Horton (20) and Will Edwards (15) who both hail from Indiana and are in their sophomore and rookie seasons, respectively.

“Alliance Racing is excited to be part the Gas Monkey Energy Racing family. We started as fans of the show, consumers of the product and now marketing partners. The Gas Monkey brand has been an industry leader with innovative ideas and progressive thinking. Gas Monkey Energy will give our drivers, Will Edwards and Chandler Horton, incredible exposure. We’re excited to give Gas Monkey Energy fans an interactive track experience and work to promote the brand,” said Toney Edwards, Alliance Racing founder.

Gas Monkey Energy is excited to bring their experience in motorsports to such a new series in F4 and to the future stars behind the wheel at Alliance Racing.
