Michael Goodyear of Carmel, Indiana, has withdrawn from Event 4 after qualifying fifth for Race 1 at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia. GMV team co-owner Jack Miller contacted Momentum Motorsports owner Phil Picard to ask if Skylar Robinson would be available for a last minute fill-in for the No. 4 car.
“Since Momentum had a family medical issue preventing us to make Road Atlanta, we were happy to allow Skyler to fill-in for Michael,” said Picard.
Momentum Motorsports and GMV Motorsports have a positive working relationship.
“Unfortunately, Michael was unable to finish the weekend,” said Miller. “Skylar was kind enough to fill-in and drive the number 4 car.”
Robinson will start from pit lane during Race 1 since he did not qualify in the GMV Motorsports car.
