Kiwi Motorsport Turns Focus from Mid-Ohio to Indianapolis After Strong Weekend

June 18, 2026 – Kiwi Motorsport continued its strong 2026 campaign this past weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, earning a race victory, multiple podium finishes, and wins across Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas), Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.), and Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) competition. The team once again showcased its depth across all three series as drivers battled at the front throughout the weekend on the challenging Ohio road course.

In FR Americas competition, Cooper Shipman led the team's efforts with a pair of fourth-place finishes. Shipman narrowly missed the podium in both races, but continued to score valuable championship points. Teammate Harbir Dass crossed the line sixth in Race 1 before finishing 12th in Race 2.

The F4 U.S. program delivered another strong weekend for Kiwi Motorsport. Caleb Campbell opened the event with a second-place finish in Race 1, leading teammate Zach Fourie, who finished fourth. Ayden Kohut added another solid result with a seventh-place finish.

Race 2 proved even more successful as Campbell climbed to the top step of the podium to claim victory for Kiwi Motorsport. Fourie joined him near the front with a third-place finish, while Kohut enjoyed one of his strongest performances of the season with a fourth-place result. With all three Kiwi Motorsport drivers finishing inside the top-five, it was a massive effort for the team that was rewarded with impressive on track results.

In Ligier JFC competition, Jack Speth continued his impressive Gen 2 campaign. Speth secured second-place finishes in class during both Race 1 and Race 2 before ending the weekend in dominant fashion with a Gen 2 class victory in Race 3.

"Mid-Ohio was another strong weekend for our team,” expressed Team Owner Teena Larsen. “Caleb's victory, multiple podium finishes across our programs, and Jack finishing the weekend with a win were all highlights. We continue to see growth from every driver in the program, and that's something we're very proud of. The crew did a fantastic job all weekend, and we're excited to carry this momentum into Indianapolis."

The team will now shift its attention to the next round of the FR Americas championship at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Indianapolis event will feature FR Americas competition only, with Kiwi Motorsport fielding Cooper Shipman and Harbir Dass as they continue their campaigns at one of the most iconic venues in motorsports.

With confidence growing and momentum on their side, Kiwi Motorsport heads to Indianapolis eager to add to an already successful 2026 season. The race weekend begins Thursday with testing, before practice and qualifying sessions take place Friday. Race 1 will be contested on Saturday, while Sunday will feature a doubleheader to conclude the event. Fans can follow live timing on the Race Monitor app, and stream all three races on the @RacingAmericaTV YouTube channel.
