June 8, 2026 – Kiwi Motorsport is set to return to action this weekend, as the team heads to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for Round Three of the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas), Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.), and Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) seasons.
Following a successful outing at Road America that featured race wins, podium finishes, and a championship sweep in Ligier JFC Gen. 2 competition, the team arrives at Mid-Ohio carrying momentum across all three programs.
In FR Americas competition, Kiwi Motorsport will field Cooper Shipman and Harbir Dass. Before any penalties, both drivers stood on the podium during the most recent event at Road America and will be looking to continue their strong form at the technical Ohio road course. Shipman remains firmly in the championship fight after a strong opening half of the season, while Dass continues to establish himself as a consistent frontrunner.
The team's F4 U.S. lineup will feature Caleb Campbell, Ayden Kohut, and Zach Fourie. Campbell and Fourie currently find themselves in the middle of an intense battle for the championship lead and have consistently run at the front throughout the season. Kohut has continued to show improvement with each event and will look to build on his recent performances.
In Ligier JFC, Jack Speth returns after a dominant weekend at Road America where he swept the Gen. 2 class. Speth will look to maintain that momentum as the championship heads to Mid-Ohio.
Team owner Teena Larsen is excited to continue the team's strong start to the season.
"Road America was a fantastic weekend for our entire organization, and we're excited to carry that momentum into Mid-Ohio,” says Larsen. “We've got drivers competing for wins and championships across all three series, which is a testament to the hard work of our crew and the commitment of our drivers. Mid-Ohio is a challenging and rewarding track, and we're looking forward to another competitive weekend."
With championship battles intensifying across all three series, Kiwi Motorsport heads to Mid-Ohio looking to continue its winning momentum and strengthen its position among the top teams in North American open-wheel racing. The Mid-Ohio event will begin with testing on Thursday and Friday morning. Official practice sessions for all three championships will take place Friday afternoon.
Saturday's schedule includes qualifying and the first race for FR Americas, F4 U.S. Championship, and Ligier JFC competitors. Sunday will feature the second race of the weekend for FR Americas and F4, while Ligier JFC competitors will contest a doubleheader to conclude the event.
