Gastón Irazú Takes First-Career F4 U.S. Pole at Road America

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (May 15, 2026) – Gastón Irazú secured his first Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) pole at Road America on Friday afternoon. Setting a fast lap of 2:15.248, Irazú (No. 27 Elia Group / Baly / Canal 4 / Ancap / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F422) held a 0.386-second advantage over the rest of the field.

Six-time F4 U.S. podium finisher, Clemente Huerta Raab (No. 17 Velox USA / Speed Factory Ligier JS F422) will line up on the front row alongside the reigning Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) champion, Irazú. Quickest from the Kiwi Motorsport camp, rookie Zach Fourie (No. 15 Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F422) will start third, with teammate and current points leader, Caleb Campbell (No. 68 Steele Auto Group / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F422), lining up fourth. Luca Day (No. 54 Zimperium / Momentum Motorsports Ligier JS F422) will round out the top-five starters

Quickest in practice, Huerta Raab held a 0.364-second gap over the field. Irazú claimed second, with Campbell in third and Fourie in fourth, as just under a second separated the group.
