Kiwi Motorsport Dominates in F4 U.S. as Shipman Scores a Trio of Victories at CTMP

September 5, 2025 – Kiwi Motorsport displayed resilience and speed this past weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), earning multiple podium results in Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) and sweeping all three victories in Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.). Despite challenges throughout the event, the team’s determination and depth of talent delivered standout performances.

In FR Americas competition, Jett Bowling led the way early by scoring the pole position, with Nicolas Ambiado securing a fourth-place starting spot for Race 1 and Kevin Janzen in tenth. Unfortunately, Bruno Ribeiro was sidelined in qualifying due to issues in practice. Race 1 proved eventful, as Ambiado claimed the second step on the podium, while Bowling salvaged a tenth-place finish after contact, just behind Janzen in ninth. Ribeiro was not medically cleared to compete in Race 1 due to his contact in practice, but returned later in the weekend.

Race 2 saw Bowling bounce back to secure a second-place finish, with Ambiado close behind in fourth. Janzen continued his consistent run in ninth, while Ribeiro managed a handful of laps in his repaired machine. In Race 3, Ribeiro made a strong return, storming to the second step of the podium, just ahead of Bowling in third, as the pair shared the podium. Ambiado finished tenth, with Janzen rounding out the squad’s results in 11th.

F4 U.S. brought even greater success for the Kiwi squad, as Cooper Shipman delivered a flawless performance by claiming pole position and sweeping all three races for a perfect weekend. In qualifying, Oliver Savoie and Clemente Huerta started strong in third and fourth, but Savoie’s spin mid-race did not allow him to complete the full distance in Race 1. That opened the door for Huerta, who capitalized on a strong third-place podium finish.

In Race 2, Savoie returned to finish seventh, while Huerta struggled with damage and finished eighth, two laps down. Race 3 brought mixed fortunes, as Huerta was unable to start due to damage from the previous race, but Savoie pushed forward to record his best result of the weekend with a sixth-place finish.

“This was a weekend that really showed the character of our team,” explained Kiwi Motorsport Team Owner, Teena Larsen. “From Jett and Nicolas fighting at the front, to Bruno making a strong comeback, and Cooper’s sweep in F4, everyone pulled together through the challenges to deliver some excellent results. I’m very proud of the resilience our drivers and crew showed.”

Kiwi Motorsport will now prepare for the penultimate round of the season at VIRginia International Raceway, September 18–21, where the team will be rejoined by its Ligier Junior Formula Championship drivers for another packed weekend of racing.
