Drivers Head Back to The Classroom

CHARLOTTE (August 22, 2025) – With fall quickly approaching, drivers from Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas), Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.), and Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) are trading in their helmet bag for a bookbag as they head back to school. Balancing life as both a racecar driver and student is nothing new to the group, with nearly 80% juggling work on the track and in the classroom.

Drivers like Ligier JFC’s Beckham Jacir (No. 7 STONICA / BELL / OMP / P1Doks / LC Racing Team Ligier JS F4), Jordyn Martin (No. 8 Hubzity / LC Racing Team Ligier JS F4), Cash Felber (No. 11 BioLongevity Labs / TownHall / Rebol / DWT / Matrix Mind Water / Phantom Fireworks / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4), Roman Felber (No. 73 BioLongevity Labs / TownHall / Rebol / DWT / Matrix Mind Water / Phantom Fireworks / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4), Max Mokarem (No. 46 BFS / District Construction / Don’t Sleep Energy / Momentum Motorsports Ligier JS F4) and FR Americas’ Brady Golan (No. 80 Attire / Toney Driver Development Ligier JS F3) and Nicolas Ambiado (No. 55 Velox USA / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) are homeschooled or attend online school. Irazú is in his sixth year at San José de la Providencia studying engineering.

With classes officially back in session, the juggling act will start now as drivers in FR Americas and F4 U.S. return to the track next weekend for the Labour Day Weekend Sprints at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, August 28-31. After that, just two weekends remain on the 2025 calendar, with all three championships contesting the VIR SpeedTour, September 18-21, and Barber SpeedTour, October 17-19.
