July 26, 2023 – The fourth round of the F4 U.S. Championship Powered by Honda is here and will head to the East Coast this weekend for a triple header event weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP). The 2.25-mile track sits on 500 acres in Millville, New Jersey, and is the premier motorsports entertainment complex in the Northeast. Last year the Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) secured three pole positions, two wins, and a third-place podium finish at NJMP and hopes for a repeat or improvement on that performance this year.
JHDD currently sits in second in the team championship and has high hopes this weekend will push the team closer to that top points position.
“I think we’ve consistently brought incredibly capable drivers every weekend,” explains team owner Jay Howard. “This weekend’s lineup is no different. The team is looking good in second but with only three race weekends left on the schedule, our full focus is going to be finishing in the top-ten and gaining those crucial championship points.”
Jay Howard Driver Development’s complete driver lineup includes Michael Costello, Michael Boyiadzis, Kekai Hauanio, Logan Adams, Tanner DeFabis, Aiden Potter, Eric Wisniewski, and Ava Dobson.
Howard continued, “We are in the heart of the racing season and will look to continue the momentum we have in every series of competition and finish the season strong.”
JHDD will begin their weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park with a pair of test sessions Friday morning followed by a single practice in the afternoon. Saturday, the F4 U.S. Championship contenders will see a single 25-minute qualifying session before their first wheel-to-wheel race event of the weekend.
