Noah Ping to Fight for F4 United States Championship at the Circuit of the Americas
November 2, 2022 On the strength of three victories and seven podium results in the 2022 F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda, Noah Ping enters the season finale this weekend with a shot at the title. Set to take on the 3.41-mile Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, Ping sits third in the point standings with nothing to lose entering the triple-header event.

“Personally, I am fighting for the Drivers Title but collectively, the VRD Racing program is vying for another Team Championship as well,” explained Ping. “Sitting third and with some ground to make up, I will be aggressive to make sure that I am in a position at the right time to try and earn as many points as possible.”

With five-point scoring results in the past five races, Ping is heading to Texas with momentum on his side. As the most recent winner in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda by claiming the checkered flag at the Virginia International Raceway a few weeks ago, Noah is looking to carry that momentum into one of the longest and most prestigious tracks in North America.

Ping continued, “Momentum is on our side for sure, and despite 2023 plans already being announced for myself, I need to focus on this weekend to try and put some pressure on the first and second-place drivers in the championship. I will need to have a weekend where anything less than three race wins is not acceptable.”

With a mid-week race, Noah Ping and the rest of the United States drivers will hit the track on Wednesday for practice before a pair of wheel-to-wheel races on Thursday. The season finale event will take place on Friday morning before the awards banquet that evening.
