OLIVER WESTLING SCORES MORE POINTS AT ROAD AMERICA F4 US CHAMPIONSHIP RACES
May 25, 2022 - California rookie Oliver Westling enjoyed a breakout weekend at the Road America road course circuit located in Wisconsin racing in the F4 US Championship series.
In just his second pro racing event, Oliver scored a career best 7th place finish and a career best 7th place qualifying result. After two rounds, Oliver is 11th in the 2022 F4 US Championship standings, and 4th in the rookie standings.
Both are impressive achievements given that Oliver has no previous karting or racing experience, and only began his race car driver development journey in November 2021.
Jensen F4 Championship Team owner Eric Jensen comments, "It is impressive to see Oliver challenging the fastest young drivers so soon in his driver development program. He is naturally quick and makes good decisions in traffic, so Oliver has been able to consistently finish races in point scoring positions."
Oliver recently advanced to having his first test day driving the Jensen team's more powerful Ligier F3 race car, and in the coming weeks he will continue with additional F3 tests with a view to scoring his first Top 5 result at the upcoming F4 US Championship series races.
