Lochie Hughes Secures F4 U.S. Pole at Road America

PLYMOUTH, Wis. (May 21, 2022) - Lochie Hughes, driver of the No. 6 Jay Howard Driver Development / CSU One Cure / Lucas Oil / Pelican Ligier JS F4, secured the pole position at Road America for the second round of the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda’s 2022 race season. Hughes was able to lock in pole position with a lap time of 2:18.719, besting Matt Christensen, driver No. 45 of the Velocity Racing Development Ligier JS F4, by 0.281-seconds. Christensen recorded a lap time of 2:19.000 to secure second place.

 

The top five were rounded out by Bryson Morris (No. 39 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F4) in third with a lap time of 2:19.519, Arturo Flores (No. 22 Gonella Racing / Flexi Ligier JS F4) in fourth with a lap time of 2:19.859, and in fifth with a lap time of 2:19.939 was Noah Ping (No. 65 Velocity Racing Development Ligier JS F4).
