MARGATE, Fla. (February 21, 2022) - With the 2022 season approaching, Gonella Racing is pleased to announce that Artie Flores will be back with the team for the 2022 F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda.
The young Mexican driver will pilot the #22 Ligier Powered by Honda and sponsored by Flexi and Old Gringo as part of Gonella Racing’s three-car effort for the 2022 season.
Flores returns to the team after a learning rookie year at the 2021 F4US, followed by an impressive performance and victory at the Mexican F1 GP with the F4Nacam, as well as an excellent pre-season Winter series run.
“We are thrilled to have Artie back on board with us this season,” said Team Owner Ernie Gonella. “His strong performance at the Winter series showed he now has not only the speed, but an enormously improved race craft. I am confident he will represent us at the top.”

The 2022 F4 US Championship Powered by Honda officially kicks off on April 8th at NOLA Motorsport Park.
