Blanco and Team Crosslink Ready for Sebring

Duo looks to add to podium and win total in 2020

September 23, 2020 - With wins and podiums in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda and additional podiums in the FR Americas Championship, Team Crosslink heads to the Sebring International Raceway this weekend to start the second half of their 2020 campaign. An off weekend from their karting efforts, Team Crosslink will enter Joshua Car in FR while recent race winner Jose Blanco will fly the team's colors in F4.

"Both Josh and Jose had a good test in Sebring a few weeks ago during the SCCA event, so we are entering this weekend with confidence," explained Team Manager Sean Owens. "We have three opportunities with three races this weekend in both divisions so a chance at six total wins. It may be a little optimistic, but we set goals high and reevaluate each and every day."

Courtesy of three podiums to date in 2020, Car enters the first of two back-to-back weekends fourth in the FR Americas point standings only ten markers away from P3 and forty-one points out of the second position. Blanco has one win and four total podium results sits fourth in the F4 Championship points chase, a scant twenty-six points away from the second-place drivers and with three races this weekend, a maximum point haul seventy-five per competitors is on the line that could completely change the championship picture.

Friday will provide competitors with a pair of practice sessions as Saturday will be the home of qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend. With fast times from each race setting the starting grid for the next race, it will be important to try and gain the best results possible, but also ensure clear and fast laps to better your starting grid for the next event. Race two and three on the weekend will take place on Sunday.
