Blanco and Car head to VIR with Crosslink Competition

July 15, 2020 - As events for the 2020 season continue to get rescheduled, Team Crosslink finds themselves at a pair of events this coming weekend. Continuing with the F4 United States Championship and the FR Americas Powered by Honda programs at the Virginia International Raceway (VIR), the karting side of the Crosslink effort will be on track with the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) season opener at New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle, Indiana.

" It is a busy weekend, but we have a good crew and have prepared for this for the past couple of weeks," explained Team Manager Sean Owens. "I will be in Indiana with the karting side of the program and will be working hard to make sure our drivers are at the front of the field. I am sure we will take a few moments here or there to follow the live timing from VIR and cheer on both Jose and Josh."

With Jose Blanco behind the wheel of a Ligier JS F4 and 2019 F4 Champion Joshua Car piloting the Team Crosslink entry in FR, both drivers are coming off top-five performances at the first event weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and will be looking for more in VIR.

Nine hours northwest, five Team Crosslink karters will be battling for podium results in UPSKS competition in Indiana. Ryan Shehan and Reilly Cann will throw their hats into the mix in X30 Senior. Perennial frontrunner Alex Stanfield will pull double duty competing in both KA100 Junior and X30 Junior and will be joined in the X30 division with Aden Rudolph and Myles Ho.

Owens continued, "What we are really hoping for is multiple wins in both sides of the Crosslink program and show our true diversity in our karts to cars efforts."
