Team Crosslink Back on Track After a Two Month COVID-19 Hiatus

Texas team travels to NOLA to get back into the swing of things

With the motorsports community starting to get back on track, the same could be said for Team Crosslink in both their karts and car programs. Completing an Formula 4 United States Championship and FR Americas Championship both Powered by Honda test at Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, Texas this past weekend, the team loaded and is on to the famed Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for another two-day test Wednesday and Thursday this week. Mixed in between all of this and with a split squad, a handful of Team Crosslink karters took part in the Sprint Kart Championship event at NOLA Motorsports Park with great success.

"It was good to have all the guys back together and see the karting family again," explained Team Manager Sean Owens. "You don't realize how much you miss something until it is not there. I am really grateful for how the team drivers are all putting in the hard work needed for success. The experience that they are gaining and different race situations that they are competing in will make them even better for the future. A huge thank you to the NOLA Motorsports Park staff, the club officials and the local racers that always welcome us with open arms."

Showing speed and running at the front of nearly every class of competition, Team Crosslink is driving forward and looking to restart the national karting campaign with success.

Owens continued, "Our goal is to win, and I am confident in the ability of the guys that surround our program. We all were away from the sport way too long and are just happy to be back. We have a jam-packed calendar for the rest of the year, but there seem to be no complaints at all!"

As a national level race team and a dealer of the Exprit Kart by OTK, Team Crosslink will compete in several local, regional and national level programs. With arrive and drive programs, product sales and services, driver coaching and data analysis, Team Crosslink will also turn over one or two race chassis following their events.
