Taking place at Thunderhill Raceway Park, Exclusive Racing and the facility will enforce strict social distancing guidelines as put forth by both the state and federal government but look forward to getting back to the track and facilitate the opportunity for teams and competitors to get on track. Additionally, Exclusive Racing is pleased to confirm that rounds three and four of the Formula Pro USA Presented by Exclusive Racing Western Championships will run as scheduled at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca June 5-7th.

“We floated the idea of having a Test & Tune day and the response was good. We worked very closely with the track to ensure that this could be done in a safe, yet constructive way and also be beneficial to both the teams and competitors,” explained Brent Morgan of Exclusive Racing and the Promoter of the F4 and FR Western Championships. “We’ve always wanted to offer Test & Tune days and look forward to May 20th and future dates that we will look and slot into the 2020 calendar.”

Part of the social distancing guidelines put in place by the track is that teams will be limited to six members per car and each team will be spaced throughout the paddock. There will be no pets allowed, no club house access, no food or vendor service and children are recommended to stay at home. Masks will be required for use in any engagement between track and team personnel. Thunderhill Raceway Park also reserves the right to check temperatures of any person entering the facility.

While this will be the first Exclusive Racing Test & Tune day, company officials are working on a schedule to offer additional days in the coming months as we begin to get back to work.

Morgan continued, “We are not limiting the type of car and will run groups as needed as we have eight hours of continuous track time. However, we urge all interested participants to register ASAP as we only have the ability to run a select quantity. Also, we are pleased to confirm that we will be back on track for the Formula Pro USA Western Championships during the first weekend in June and registration is now open for that. With the delay in getting back racing, an additional day has been added to the upcoming round, providing teams and competitors increased track time at one of the country’s premier facilities.”

Competitors will be able to get on track at Laguna Seca on Friday, June 5th for a test day before two wheel-to-wheel race days on June 6th and 7th.
