WEST COAST NEWS: Formula Pro USA Presented by Exclusive Racing Test & Tune Day Set for May 20th

Social distancing guidelines in place for patrons

April 30, 2020 – Looking to help jumpstart the motorsports community in the western half of the country, Exclusive Racing has organized their first Test & Tune day of 2020. Set to take place May 20th at Thunderhill Raceway Park, Exclusive Racing will enforce strict social distancing guidelines as put forth by both the state and federal government as well as the facility management team.

“We are excited to be able to get back to the track and think this is a great way to get people back in the racing mentality after being cooped up for so long,” explained Brent Morgan. “We’ve always wanted to offer Test & Tune days and COVID-19 has pushed our hand on that. We have communicated with several teams and drivers and feel that we can get a good group of quality drivers on track all while respecting the rules.”

Part of the social distancing guidelines put in place by the track is that teams will be limited to six members per car and each team will be spaced throughout the paddock. There will be no pets allowed, no club house access, no food or vendor service and children are recommended to stay at home. Masks will be required for use in any engagement between track and team personnel. Thunderhill Raceway Park also reserves the right to check temperatures of any person entering the facility.

Morgan continued, “We urge any person who does not feel well, has a temperature or is sick to please stay home. The goal is to allow businesses, race teams, our drivers and the facility to get back to the business of racing. The Test & Tune days are not just reserved for Formula Pro USA competitors but are open to other teams and drivers as well.”

Slots are limited so teams and competitors interested in the May 20th Exclusive Racing Test & Tune Day are asked to reserve their space by completing the attached form by clicking HERE before the end of the day on Sunday, May 3rd. Price will be dependent on car count.

While this will be the first Exclusive Racing Test & Tune day, company officials are working on a schedule to offer additional days in the coming months as we begin to get back to work.
