Swedish Star Viktor Andersson joins JHDD for 2020 F4 U.S. Championship

Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) is delighted to announce that young Swedish sensation, Viktor Andersson, will be joining the team for the 2020 Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda season.

Andersson, who is a member of the Swedish National Team and became the youngest Swedish Champion in Formula Nordic 2019, will be looking to make his mark in North America this season by teaming up with race winning outfit JHDD.

“I am really looking forward to starting my international career in the F4 U.S. Championship with Jay Howard Driver Development,” an excited Andersson commented. “It’s a new country, new car, new tracks and new team so there will be many new things for me to learn. But I am super motivated and excited for the challenge and hopefully we will be fighting for podiums.”

Jay Howard is always on the lookout for upcoming talent around the globe, and with the addition of Andersson, he is confident that his F4 U.S. Championship line-up is coming together positively with a view to enjoying further success as a unit during the 2020 season.

“Viktor is an excellent addition to our team,” outlined Howard. “He’s clearly quick, and he’s got a great attitude which means he’s going to fit in perfectly with the team as a whole. I’m looking forward to all of our drivers pushing each other in a positive way this season, working together with the team and ultimately delivering positive results out on the track. Viktor is certainly going to be a factor this season.”

Andersson and the rest of the JHDD F4 U.S. Championship squad will continue their pre-season preparations over the course of the coming months, before the 2020 F4 U.S. Championship season officially gets underway at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Georgia, April 9-11.
