Formula Pro USA Presented by Exclusive Racing Announces Partnership with Honda Racing HPD

2020 Series Champion will be granted F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda engine lease

Hot on the heels of industry shaking announcement last week by Honda Racing HPD that will award the 2020 F3 Americas season champion with a scholarship to level up to Indy Lights in 2021, the Formula Pro USA West Coast Championships Presented by Exclusive Racing program is partnering with Honda as well. With the start of the 2020 season just five weeks away, series officials are pleased to announce an engine lease program for the 2020 Formula Pro USA F4 champion to compete in the hotly contested Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda in 2021.

"This is a great way to be able to transfer our series competitors to the national stage," explained Exclusive Racing Owner and Series Promoter Brent Morgan. "We aim to become the official feeder series to the national program from the West Coast and partnering with Honda gives us that first step to help our champions contend nationally. A huge thanks to Honda Racing HPD for all their support on not only our western series, but motorsports in general across the board."

Founded in 1993, Honda Performance Development, Inc. (HPD) is the American Honda racing company within North America. HPD specializes in design, development and production of race engines/chassis and manufacturing of prototype and production parts for race application. HPD also offers programs, parts and services to Honda and Acura grassroots motorsports racers. HPD is located in Santa Clarita, California.

With the Honda engine lease in hand, the Formula Pro USA Presented by Exclusive Racing Champion will be a hot commodity for any 2021 team.

"We have a plethora of talent out here, but our geographical location restricts some of our drivers from easily entering the national series," Morgan continued. "Assistance like this from Honda will provide a shot in the arm for both our series and our 2020 champion."

Exclusive Racing will have several more partnership announcements in the coming weeks. Closing deals to supply each and every competitor with discounts, contingencies and money saving efforts, series officials are calling all competitors and teams on the West Coast to bring their cars to Thunderhill Raceway Park for round one and experience the Exclusive Racing hospitality.

Morgan added, "We are focused on growth this year and will do that by providing the best bang for our racers' buck. We can't wait to see what the future has in store."
