Scott Goodyear Brings Must-See Features to 2020 Indy Auto Show

Features include Andretti Autosport Dan Wheldon 2005 Indy 500 winning car as well as autograph sessions with Trans Am, F3 Americas and F4 U.S. Championship drivers

Scott Goodyear, F3 Americas and F4 U.S. race director and 11-time Indianapolis 500 starter, is bringing several must-see features and vehicles to the 106th Indianapolis Auto Show, which runs Thursday, December 26 through Wednesday, January 1 at the Indiana Convention Center.

The vehicles include:

  • The Andretti Autosport Dan Wheldon Indy 500 winning car courtesy of Andretti Autosport
  • Abel Motorsports F3 Americas car
  • Alliance Racing sponsored by Gas Monkey F4 U.S. car
  • 2019 Honda Civic Type R Pace Car
  • Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli TA2® Rookie of the Year car

Five drivers — F4 drivers Chandler Horton and Will Edwards, F3 Americas drivers JP Southern, Jr. and Jacob Abel as well as Rookie of the Year Trans Am driver Lawless Alan — will be available for autograph sessions from Friday, December 27 through Sunday, December 29 at the Sports Car Club of America booth. Those sessions are as follows:

  • Friday, December 27 from 12-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 28 from 12-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 29 from 1-3 p.m.

In addition, a booth for the Tire Rack Street Survival school will offer information on its teen, safe-driving program designed to go beyond drivers’ education in order to give teens across the country the hands-on experience and tools to become smarter, safer drivers.

“More then five thousand teenagers die each year on our roads,” Goodyear said. “The Street Survival program takes place in more than 100 schools each year coast to coast to help young teenagers become better drivers. It’s a passion of mine, and I encourage Auto Show attendees to stop by our booth to learn more about this one-day program that teaches real-world driving skills.”

The New Castle Motorsports Park booth will also be doing a daily giveaway for its New Castle Motorsports Park Family Karting Experience. For more information about this state-of-the-art karting facility, visit newcastlemotorsportspark.com.
