Formula Pro USA F3 and F4 Western Championship Winter Series Dates Confirmed

Series will see back-to-back weekends at popular California locations

With the calendar set to turn to 2020, the Formula Pro USA F3 and F4 Western Championships Presented by Exclusive Racing are ready to kick off in just over eight weeks. Commencing during the third weekend of January, the popular West Coast Formula 4 program is set for continued growth with the addition of Formula 3, as they look to become the open wheel series of choice in the western half of the United States.

"It has been a great year for Formula Pro USA and our racing program as we have been able to not only grow our regional level series, but also push drivers through to compete on the national stage," explained Brent Morgan from Exclusive Racing, who is the primary promoter of the series. "With the F4 United States Championship showing success, concluding their season with a history making event, and several of our western race teams adding inventory to their stables, we are anticipating our biggest year yet and can't wait to get started."

The first event of 2020 will go green on the weekend of January 24th - 26th at the famed Auto Club Speedway. The first two rounds of the four round series will take place in the Roval style event that will utilize both the infield road course and the Auto Club Speedway oval. Rounds three and four of the program will take place February 1st - 2nd at Sonoma Raceway in the beautiful wine country of Napa Valley.

Morgan continued, "The back-to-back weekend formats allow for our out of town teams to travel once to compete in the entire series. It is a great way for us to help our customers decrease expenses while getting double the on-track competition. Additionally, between the event weekends, we will look to add a test day at a local California track for teams that are looking for an extra testing opportunities."
