The newest Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda team, Gonella Racing announced its plans to run a series of test days as part of ifs new championship driver development program. The team, based out of South Florida, will be on track starting in November and will continue through December, January and February. The program will focus on driver development and will be led by team owner, Ernie Gonella. On top of extensive on-track testing, the program will help drivers understand the mechanics behind their cars and how to communicate efficiently and effectively with engineers.
“I couldn't be more excited to start this driver development program," Gonella said. "I am confident that each driver will benefit from our team’s knowledge, coaching and experience. I look forward to working with these young drivers, and preparing them not only to be fast but also to help them understand the race car vehicle dynamics and to be able to provide precise feedback to the team in order to achieve the best possible setup."
