The Formula Pro USA F4 and F3 Western Championships presented by Exclusive Racing in affiliation with SCCA Pro Racing announced its Winter Series schedule, offering racing opportunities for both Honda-powered F4 U.S. and F3 Americas LIgiers. Racing at two great California tracks, the F4 and F3 Western Championships Winter Series will feature four rounds of racing held over two event weekends with the first two rounds taking place Jan. 24, 2020, at Auto Club Speedway and the final two rounds at Sonoma Raceway Feb. 1-2, 2020.
"This is a great opportunity for drivers ad teams to tune up for the 2020 season," said President and CEO of Exclusive Racing Brent D. Morgan . "With similar rules and regulations as the national F4 U.S. and F3 Americas championships, along with limited travel expenses and strict price controls, the Winter Series is an affordable way to get drivers prepared for the upcoming racing season."
The Formula Pro USA Western Championships is affiliated with the SCCA Pro Racing F4 U.S. and F3 Americas programs, competing on the same weekends as SCCA club and non-club events on the west coast. The series uses and the same Ligier JS F4 and Ligier JS F3 chassis and Honda Civic Type R engines as the F4 U.S. Championship and F3 Americas Championhiip. Formula Pro USA Western Championships use similar rules and regulations as the F4 U.S. and F3 Americas championships.
