Alliance Racing Sponsored by Gas Monkey Energy Brings Four Drivers to Sebring

Renewed focus and energy to close the season on a high

It is the second to last event weekend in the 2019 F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda as Alliance Racing Sponsored by Gas Monkey Energy heads south to Florida. Taking on the bumpy and challenging Sebring International Raceway, the Indianapolis based program will enter a quartet of drivers in the penultimate weekend of the series.

"We are anxious to get to Sebring," explained Toney Edwards. "This is a track that we tested at close to the end of 2018 and feel we have a good baseline setup. Obviously, we have some new and different drivers this year, but it is a good starting point and an opportunity to get ahead of the game. For us, we are taking this as the start of our 2020 season, and we can't wait to get started."

Leading the way into Sebring will be Dylan Tavella who currently sits eighth in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda point standings. On the strength of several strong finishes, Tavella and the rest of the Gas Monkey Energy branded drivers are aiming to finish the season strong. Joining Tavella will be Chandler Horton who has scored points in the last two races as well as Will Edwards and female rookie Zoey Edenholm.

Edwards continued, "Our program is taking a big step forward this event and hopefully all the work in the shop transitions to even better results on track. I think we have a good shot of having all four drivers finish in the points in Sebring but if not, our goal is to continue to gain the best results possible."

With a Promoters Test Day allowing drivers to hit the track on Thursday, the official event weekend will commence on Friday with a pair of practice sessions and qualifying. Saturday will host a pair of wheel-to-wheel events with race one and two of the weekend while Sunday will be the home of race three. Stay tuned to the Alliance Racing social media accounts for up-to-date news, information, photos and results from Sebring.

With the 2019 season winding down, Alliance Racing Sponsored by Gas Monkey Energy is already working towards their 2020 program. Developing a test plan to begin as soon as the current season ends, the second year program will look to advance drivers from karts into cars as they solidify their 2020 driver lineup.
