Just over a year ago Kiko Porto was making his debut in the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex. Now, in his first full season in the category, Porto (Petromega / Miami Home Design / BF / DEForce Racing / Speed Group) celebrates the good results so far this season on his 16th birthday.
In 2019, Porto has been on the podium in six of the 12 races, scoring three wins, a second place and two third-place finishes. In addition to the multiple top-10 results throughout the year driving the No. 12 DEForce Racing car, the Brazilian driver added 171 points, taking second place in the drivers' championship.
“I am very happy to celebrate my birthday in this good phase, with important results for my career and for my team," Porto said. "I hope to continue like this and fighting for the championship title until the end, being competitive."
The next stop of the F4 U.S. season will be in Florida at Sebring International Raceway Sept. 13-15.
