Mid-Ohio provides platform for momentum to end the season strong
Following a disappointing weekend at the Virginia International Raceway, Dylan Tavella is looking for redemption this upcoming weekend. Heading to the 2.258-mile road course of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in the #14 RideWithDylan.com entry, Tavella will be competing in round ten, eleven and twelve of the 2019 Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda alongside the Trans-Am and NASCAR Xfinity programs.
"I'm eager to be back at Mid-Ohio," Tavella exclaimed. "I think having two race weekends closer together than normal will be a positive change as I will not have had so much downtime. I can carry my determination from VIR to be stronger and more competitive. I have had several strong runs this season but a few disappointing results as well. Mid-Ohio is a key race for us and a great way to build momentum to end the year strong."
Tavella has done well a majority of the season so far, collecting a multitude of top-ten results and he is looking to stand on the podium once again. He currently sits seventh in the championship points standings and is anxious to collect more points towards the championship this weekend.
The three-day event will take place this Thursday, August 8th and will continue through Saturday, August 10th. There will be two promoter tests and two official practice sessions on Thursday followed by qualifying and two races (rounds ten and eleven) on Friday. The weekend will come to a close on Saturday with the final race.
