Gui Peixoto Has Good Expectations for VIR

Peixoto shows confidence in the evolution of his car and in the work of his team, DEForce Racing, to fight for good results in the triple round

Brazilian Guilherme Peixoto returns to the track this weekend (July 26-28) at Virginia International Raceway for another challenge in the Formula United States Championship Powered by Honda. Debuting this season, Peixoto enters the third event weekend already in the top-10 and second among the rookies.

To get well prepared and to know a little more about the 3,27 miles and 17 corners track, the Brazilian, who races for the DEForce Racing team, spent two days in Miami, training in the All In Sports simulator.

"The Virginia track has features that can be favorable for my car. It's similar to the Atlanta circuit, where we had a very good performance in the first round", said Gui Peixoto, who came from good results at the last round in Pittsburgh back in June when he left with three Top-10s.

"Expectations are good for the weekend. It's my third round and I already have a good experience in the car. So we want to fight for the podium and maybe even a victory", said the Brazilian. "I've done a few laps on the track in the simulator and I really enjoyed it. I think it's going to be a very cool circuit to race", said Gui Peixoto, who makes his first season in the single-seaters after a successful karting career.
