Brazilian driver Kiko Porto (Petromega / BF / DE Force Racing / Speed Group) completed another set of two-day tests with DEForce Racing, preparing for the Formula 4 United States debut next month. During the evaluation at Houston Motorsports Park in Texas, Porto gained mileage and experimented in various climate and track conditions, which went from dry heat to cold and wet by the end of the session. The substantial improvement on the conduction and learning of the car left Porto happy with the two days of work.
“I really liked my evolution since my last test, here in this very track," said Porto. "I managed to go faster and feel the reaction of the car more easily, helping the team in the positive hits. The team was also satisfied with the work these days. I believe we’re in the right path to have a great season.”
In the next month, Porto will be back in the United States for the final team tests before his F4 launch April 18-20 at Road Atlanta, supporting the F3 Americas Championship and Formula Race Promotions.
