Last Friday kicked-off the beginning of an intense two-day test at the Houston Motorsports Park for Brazilian driver Kiko Porto (Petromega / BF / DE Force Racing / Speed Group), who's preparing for his first full season with DEForce Racing in the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda.
“I admit that I was missing this and I couldn’t wait to go back driving here in the United States," said Porto who was among the top-10 in five of the eight races he competed in last season. "I’ll make the most out of the training to get to know even more the secrets of the car. God willing, we’ll make the 2019 season even better than it was last year.”
On Saturday, Porto proved how quickly he could adapt as the rain soaked the Houston track. 
"For me every time I enter the track is an opportunity to make the most of it and adapt myself to all kinds of conditions," Porto continued. "Training in the rain was very useful practice for the season.”
Porto returns to F4 testing April 11-12 at Houston Motorsports Park, getting in a final practice before his season F4 U.S. debut at Road Atlanta April 18-20.
