Dylan Tavella Joins Alliance Racing Sponsored by Gas Monkey Energy for 2019 F4 U.S. Season

Tavella to be part of three driver program

Already making plans for the 2019 racing season, Richard Mille Young Driver Academy nominee, Dylan Tavella, has officially joined the Alliance Racing Sponsored by Gas Monkey Energy program and will contest his second season in the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda. Partnering a three-car effort, Tavella will make a run at the series championship having gained knowledge and experience from his 2018 racing program.

"I am excited to join Alliance Racing next season and be part of a growing program and the Gas Monkey Energy brand," explained Tavella, the newest Gas Monkey Energy driver. "Jack Miller and Miller Vinatieri Racing is taking a different direction and competing in a different series next year, but my home is in the F4 program. I have learned a lot driving from MVM, and can't thank them enough for providing me the opportunity, but am also extremely happy on where we are headed in 2019."

With two other drivers already confirmed in Alliance Racing, a high caliber engineer and mechanics, and a growing operation, Tavella is a big piece of the puzzle.

"Dylan progressed nicely this year and we have been watching him," explained Team Owner Toney Edwards. "When Jack announced plans of a different direction in 2019, we were able to all put our heads together and put the best possible plans into action. Working with Jack Miller, Dylan's father and Dylan's management team, the transition was seamless and it was encouraging to work together with another team to find a home for their obviously valued driver."

Set to take part in multiple offseason tests, Tavella will get acclimatized with his new team and begin working with fellow team drivers and the engineer.

Announced earlier this week, Tavella was nominated and accepted to be a brand ambassador and spokesperson for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of New York. Also confirmed for 2019, Dylan will push forward with the successful Ride With Dylan initiative and in December, Dylan will travel to Europe for the Richard Mille Young Driver Academy.
