Thirteen-Year-Old Alexa Speicher to Sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" before F4 U.S. Opening Ceremonies on Sunday at Keystone Speedfest

Thirteen-year-old Alexa Speicher will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the Keystone Speedfest at Pittsburgh International Race Complex Aug. 4-5. The Fombell, Pennsylvania-native has performed the National Anthem as a soloist the last two years at PNC Park before the Pittsburgh Pirates’ games and before several college and high school sporting events.  

Alexa will perform the National Anthem on Saturday before the first F2000 race at 12:55 p.m. and on Sunday prior to the opening ceremonies of the second Formula 4 United States Powered by Honda round at 10:05 a.m.

The Keystone Speedfest features eight high-energy championship series during one action-packed road racing weekend. Pittsburgh International Race Complex will play host to the Keystone Speedfest Aug 3-5 in a joint event featuring the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli’s TA, TA3 and TA4 classes, F4 U.S., Formula Race Promotions’ F1600 Championship Series, F2000 Championship Series and Atlantic Championship Series along with the world debut of the F3 Americas Championship Powered by Honda.

The inaugural event will include a fleet of cars from each series competing on the track’s newly expanded 2.8 miles, 19-turn road course. Tickets are still available for purchase at www.KeystoneSpeedfest.com
