Dylan Tavella Launches Ride with Dylan Effort Alongside Consistent Results at Mid-Ohio

Tavella keeps gaining experience with each passing race weekend

In an effort to give back and help fight children's leukemia, New York resident Dylan Tavella launched his Ride With Dylan initiative last week. Taking advantage of the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the Miller Vinatieri Motorsports driver successfully promoted his campaign and claimed three top-twenty results, completing every race lap and gained experience along the way.

"I wouldn't say that it wasn't my best weekend to date, but it was definitely a good one as I gained more experience in an open wheel car," expressed Dylan Tavella. "I had a really good first race, moving forward 12 positions as well as turned a lap time that allowed me to start 13th in race two."

With an 18th place finish in race one, 16th in race two and 17th in race three, Tavella managed to gain positions in two of three races, and bring the car home with no damage for the third consecutive F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda weekend.

Tavella continued, "I want to win so finishing 15th is a little disappointing, but I am learning and preparing myself for the 2019 season. I will continue my on track training next weekend as I will be back in the seat again, but this time in a Rotax powered Birel kart. I will race in the Rotax Senior division at the United States Rotax Grand Nationals at New Jersey Motorsports. I will be shooting for my fourth Rotax Grand National Championship."

Launched last week, Ride With Dylan is a unique opportunity to get your face on the side of Dylan's race car. In an effort to give back and help fight against children's leukemia, the Ride With Dylan program is a charitable effort and a not-for-profit registered 501 C3 company and allows donators to be part of Dylan's livery.
