Crosslink Motorsports Shows Strong Pace and Podium Success at NOLA Season Opener

April 15, 2026 – Crosslink Motorsports opened its 2026 campaign this past weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park, competing in both the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) and Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) season openers with a multi-car lineup. Earning race wins, podium results, and pole positions, Crosslink Motorsports asserted itself as a championship contender in 2026.

F4 U.S. Championship
Fernando Rivera experienced a challenging yet promising weekend in F4 U.S. competition. Race 1 ended early following a lap-one incident that prevented him from completing the race. Rivera rebounded strongly in Race 2, narrowly missing the podium with an impressive fourth-place finish. In Race 3, misfortune struck again as he completed 14 of 18 laps, ultimately finishing eighth while continuing to show competitive pace.

FR Americas
Crosslink Motorsports delivered a strong overall performance in FR Americas, highlighted by standout drives from Evagoras Papasavvas and Kekai Hauanio. Papasavvas, making his debut with the team, secured pole position in the opening qualifying session and went on to finish fourth in Race 1, leading the team’s results. He was followed by Hauanio in seventh, Barrett Wolfe in ninth, Kevin Janzen in 11th overall and second in the Masters class, and Aidan Schuh in 12th. Alejandro Bobadilla was limited to seven laps in Race 1 due to issues.

Race 2 marked a breakthrough moment for the team, with Papasavvas securing victory and Hauanio joining him on the podium with a third-place finish. Wolfe delivered a strong drive to fourth, while Bobadilla recovered well to finish seventh. Janzen added another podium result in the Masters class with a third-place finish.

In Race 3, Hauanio continued his strong form with a second-place finish, while Papasavvas and Wolfe both secured top-ten results to cap off a productive opening weekend for the team.

Team owner Gill Kaszuba reflected on the team’s performance across both programs.

“It was a very encouraging start to the season for us. Evagoras showed incredible pace right away with a pole and a win, and Kekai had a very strong weekend with multiple podium finishes,” explained Gill Kaszuba. “The entire FR lineup made solid contributions, and it was great to see Kevin on the Masters podium as well. Fernando had some tough luck in F4, but he showed real speed and resilience, especially with that near podium in Race 2. We have a lot to build on moving forward.”

With a race win, multiple podiums, and strong pace across both series, Crosslink Motorsports leaves NOLA with momentum as it prepares for the next phase of the 2026 season. The team will now turn its attention to the next round of both championships, set for May 14-17 at Road America.
