Drivers in Action- F4 U.S. Driver to Spend Time Off the Track to Give Back

As Americans join together to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families, seventeen-year-old JDX Racing Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda driver Darren Keane is learning that his actions outside of the car can be more impactful as the actions inside of it.

The Boca Raton native will volunteer 12 hours of his time this week to the Fort Lauderdale Calvary Christian Academy’s community outreach program where Keane will assist in delivering turkeys, boxing groceries for home preparation and serving hot meals to families in need.

“My parents worked very hard to give me what I have,” said Keane. “Not everyone has had the same opportunities as I have received.”

This is the third consecutive year that Keane has dedicated his Thanksgiving vacation to community outreach.

“I enjoy contributing to my community. Volunteering is my way of giving back to those who need it most,” Keane said.
